FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is Vivahop really free?
Yes. Vivahop is free during beta and you don’t need a card to plan a trip. If we introduce paid plans later, we’ll give beta users plenty of notice.
Which countries does it cover?
Vivahop is built for trips within Europe, for families living in Europe — from the Algarve to the Austrian lakes.
How do you know a place is actually family-friendly?
We don’t guess. Each stop is checked against real Google reviews and confirmed attributes — high chairs, changing tables, fenced playgrounds, stroller access, shade and more. You see that evidence on every recommendation: family-verified, not a vague score.
How accurate are the drive times and opening details?
Routes use real road-network drive times rather than guesses, and place details come from live place data. No itinerary is perfect, so we show our evidence and make every stop easy to swap — but we won’t invent places that don’t exist.
How is the home base chosen?
You pick a vibe (nature, food, spa, ski, thrill). Vivahop weighs candidate bases on real travel times and what’s genuinely around them, then picks the one that fits your trip best — so you can settle in one place and day-trip out.
Can I change the plan?
Yes. Swap a stop, add or remove a day, or nudge the pace — and every change is re-checked for family fit before it lands.
Do I need the app, or does it work on the web?
Vivahop runs in your browser — nothing to install. Native iOS and Android apps are on the way.
What do you do with my data?
We’re GDPR-bound and only use what we need to plan your trips. The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
