This Privacy Policy explains how Vivahop (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you use our website and app. We are committed to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are (data controller)

2. What data we collect

• Information you give us — e.g. contact details and the trip details you enter (destinations, dates, travel party including children’s ages).
• Usage data — how you interact with the app, so we can improve the product. On this website, we measure page visits with Google Analytics only if you consent in the cookie banner — see our Cookie Policy for exactly what that involves and how to withdraw.
• Technical data — device, browser and approximate location derived from your IP address.

3. Why we use it (lawful bases)

• To provide the service you request (performance of a contract).
• To improve and secure our products (legitimate interests).
• Where required, on the basis of your consent (e.g. certain cookies/analytics) — which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Sharing & processors

We share data with service providers who process it on our behalf — for example hosting and mapping/places data providers, and — only with your consent — Google as our analytics processor. We don’t sell your data.

5. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above or as required by law.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to certain processing.
